The Tiger baseball team hit the road Tuesday to Meadville for their season opener. Neither team could get their offense going until Meadville scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 4th. Brashear answered with a run in the 5th, but despite getting runners on board, the Tigers couldn't bring them in. Meadville added 2 more in the 5th and 3 more in the 6th to claim the 8-1 win. Wyatt Reeves had 2 hits for Brashear and Garrett Housman had 1 hit. Jace Snelling drove in Brashear's run. Brhet Place got the start on the mound, striking out 9 with Garrett Housman pitching in relief.

Brashear won the JV contest 7-0. Brandon Jochimsen homered for Brashear. Colton Sayre and Brandon Jochimsen pitched for the Tigers.
